Leading Parent Partnership Award

Elemore Hall School

Strengthening our school community through recognition

After completing the Wellbeing Award, embarking on the next stage felt like a natural progression for our school. The award process provided a structured opportunity to build on our previous achievements and further challenge ourselves to develop an even more positive school culture.

Building meaningful stakeholder relationships

Through the award process, we identified new ways to connect and collaborate with all our stakeholders. We focused on linking the many positive relationships within our school and sharing our successes beyond the classroom walls. This included working more closely with local agencies and charities to extend support for pupils and families both during and outside of school hours.

Empowering pupils, staff, and families

Our efforts led to stronger relationships throughout the school community. Staff feel more empowered and confident to build new partnerships, especially as we approach a new academic year. This enhanced collaboration has resulted in a more unified team and enabled us to continue developing our provision.

Focusing on wellbeing and academic success

Since achieving the award, we have seen pupils take greater pride in their school, enthusiastically engaging in activities, celebration events, and sharing their accomplishments on the school website. The positive atmosphere is palpable, benefiting both academic attainment and overall wellbeing.

Planning for continued growth

We look forward to transforming our conference room into a more welcoming and practical space for meetings and collaboration. Our school newsletter is also being revitalised and will be sent to all stakeholders each term to celebrate successes and share positive news.

Reflections on the award experience

The entire experience has been supportive and self-reflective, fostering a growth mindset among pupils, staff, and parents. The award offers a valuable framework for continuous improvement, helping us develop provision in a structured and meaningful way.

Testimonial from the Headteacher

“We have really enjoyed working on the LPPA and feel it has helped us grow as a school. I would highly recommend this to any school looking to identify strengths and areas for improvement through a supportive and positive process.”
